Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Canoga Park Location. As the Maintenance Technician, provide a safe and well-maintained store environment for customers and employees. This role will support the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure stores are ready for business daily.
Responsibilities
- Keeping the facility and maintenance area clean, organized, and safe.
- Keeping our facilities in world class condition
- Maintaining the interior and exterior of buildings and grounds
- Follow work instructions and OSHA safety rules, including the use of all PPE and other safety equipment in an industrial environment.
- Diagnose problems, replace and repair parts, detect and replace defective items, test and make final adjustments for high-speed production equipment.
- Maintain technical knowledge by actively participating in continuous training.
- Interpret schematics and equipment manuals.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
- Employee will work with chemicals. Minimum Requirements:
- Maintenance: minimum 4 years industrial mechanical/electrical or 2-year technical degree (Required)
- Able to work other shifts and weekend if needed and be flexible to work overtime.
- Intermediate skills with technology. (Email, Calendars, Computer Tablets, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
- Ability to lift, push or pull 50 pounds on occasion and 20 pounds regularly.
- Must be able to work seated or standing for at least 8 hours.
- Must be able to reach items at varying height levels (on shelves, on ground, etc.).
- Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.
- Kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
- Work in high areas including the roof and operate equipment.

Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: Hourly $20-$35/hr Depending on Experience
- OT and DT may also be available.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- On call (Emergencies)
- May need to occasionally work on weekends or off shift hours.
